Applied Energy Group (AEG) is an AMERESCO company that provides a wide range of energy efficiency related management services to assist clients in designing and implementing programs for their customers. We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join the growing Commercial/ Industrial Program Implementation Team.
Support electric and gas utility DSM programs to review applications submitted by Commercial and Industrial rate payers seeking to participate in utility rebate programs;
Qualify efficiency measures, determine the proper baseline for comparisons, validate participant eligibility, and calculate energy savings from energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements at customer facilities;
Review of program application, account data, and measures for program eligibility;
Review of supporting documents including equipment cut sheets, engineering diagrams, and energy usage data to ensure it matches values provided by the applicant;
Calculating energy usage of existing and new conditions to determine savings, rebate eligibility and amounts;
Recording the outcome of analysis in AEG’s internal program tracking and reporting system;
Communicating outcomes to customers including successful submissions, rejected applications or requests for additional information;
Communication with customers by email or phone when additional information is needed, in a manner that maximizes customer satisfaction and best represents our clients and;
Collaborate with team members on best practices and train new team members.
BS/BA in Engineering, Energy Efficiency or a related field.
10+ years of professional experience.
5+ years of experience in DSM applications.

Ability to develop strong subject matter expertise to recommend and implement cost effective solutions.

Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, and building energy modeling software is preferred
Valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state required.
U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
May be required to pass security clearance.
Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Professional Engineering (PE) certification is preferred
