    Ameresco Inc., has a new opportunity for an experienced DDC/ Pneumatic control technician to support Ameresco’s growing control responsibilities on Operation and Maintenance sites in DC, Maryland. VA and Pennsylvania.

    Responsibilities

    Knowledge in servers, network equipment and in use of personal computers with MS Office and equivalents;

    Knowledge in construction contracting industry with specific emphasis in mechanical / electrical fields and specific experience in field service;

    Proven experience in BACnet, Lon Works and Modbus protocols;

    Experience integrating third party devices and software;

    Provide site operator training on local DDC systems;

    Interface with owners and owners representatives;

    Service and troubleshooting, both on site and phone support of existing control systems;

    Conduct Preventive Maintenance repairs and replacements but not limited to all types of DDC, pneumatic, VFD and electrical control systems for use in automation control equipment and systems; and

    Perform other duties as required.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Trade or Vocational School plus minimum 5 applicable DDC experience required.

    Must have excellent knowledge of operating and servicing entire building and support systems including HVAC, refrigeration, pneumatic, DDC and building safety equipment.

     

    Additional Preferred Qualifications:

    Must observe and comply with all standard safety codes and practice, and perform work in accordance with recognized trade and Ameresco standards

    Strong verbal, written, technical language and computer communication skills.

    Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and transport equipment and tools in excess of 300 lbs.

    Valid Drivers’ License issued by state of residence and in good standing.

    Ability to work on a flexible schedule and provide on-call response.

    U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residence status required.

    May be required to pass security clearance investigation.

    Travel required.
