    We are currently seeking a Market and Research Associate to join our Microgrid and Distributed Energy Systems team to collaborate with Account Executives, Engineering teams, finance and legal to produce and present successful microgrid and renewable technology project proposals.  This position will be located in Framingham, MA or Philadelphia, PA.      

    Responsibilities

    Assemble and update microgrid related news and industry trends for incorporation into microgrid business offerings;

    Assemble and update regional news and trends within geographic and user type markets to assist with constantly updating the microgrid business focus on the most promising sectors;

    Support EVP Distributed Energy Systems and VP Microgrid Services with internal development, editing, coordination activities required to produce proposal, presentation, and collateral materials;

    Partner with Business Development and Project Engineers to produce marketing and presentation materials for customer meetings, seminars, and conferences;
    Develop internal electronic energy efficiency and renewable technology project database and catalogue of past, current, and future project opportunities;
    Gather and update supporting company data and customer project information;
    Assist in cultivating new avenues of proposal lead development;
    Identify and implement production process improvements to ensure effective use of resources;
    Perform other duties as required.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor Degree in Communications, Marketing, Sustainability, or related field.
    Minimum 2 years proposal development and production experience.

     

    Additional Preferred Qualifications:

    Superior organizational, project, time management, and resource planning skills.
    Excellent verbal, written, computer and interpersonal communication and presentation skills.

    Advanced MS Office and Adobe computer proficiency; and basic Excel and Power Point proficiency

    Demonstrate knowledge of RFP/RFQ process, including public proposal exposure desirable.

    Proposal management software package experience with SharePoint, Qvidian, etc. and automated RFP/RFQ electronic bid submittal tools such as Ariba.

    Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast paced work setting.
    Valid Drivers’ License issued by state of residence and in good standing.

    Flexibility to work beyond a traditional schedule in order to meet project deadlines
    U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
