We currently seek interns to support various tasks related to the design and commissioning of HVAC projects. This position is located at the Honolulu office.
Visit project sites to gather key project details such as clearance measurements, equipment information, and system operating data;
Aid with design and CAD drafting of existing and new mechanical infrastructure;
Assist with engineering assessment and design analysis;
Participate in various reviews throughout the design and construction process of projects;
Assist senior engineers with trouble-shooting and diagnosis of mechanical systems;
Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, and codes;
Perform other duties as required.
Enrolled in college with a focus in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Energy Efficiency and/or Renewable Technology preferred.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
Intermediate level user of MS Office to produce documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Familiarity with HVAC systems and familiarity with architectural drawings.
Ability to pass security clearance and drug screening investigation.
