    AEG has an opening for a Market Research Analyst to join our consulting group. Energy Consulting provides advanced analytic and strategic consulting services to energy companies, utilities, governments, and non-profit organizations. Our talented, multidisciplinary staff provides comprehensive solutions to complex energy and sustainability problems.

     

    The Market Research Analyst will assist in developing market research materials, managing primary research data collection activities, and analyzing and reporting research results. 

    Responsibilities

    Conduct secondary/ desk research and in-depth telephone interviews;

    Develop survey questionnaires & IDI Focus Group Guides;

    Test online surveys;

    Manage data collection activities/ subcontractors;

    Conduct qualitative and quantitative data analyst and populate data into reports;

    Write report sections and;

    Perform other duties as required

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements

    Bachelors Degree in the social sciences or comparable degree program

    Minimum 5 years relative experience

     

    Additional Preferred Qualifications

    Proven experience as a market research professional, preferably for a consulting firm.

    Self-motivated, highly disciplined individual able to work independently and with supervision;

    Highly detail oriented with strong internal quality control orientation

    Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize multiple projects

    Strong analytical capabilities and written communication skills

    Ability to deliver results consistently and achieve goals on time

    Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word

    Proficiency in and experience with statistical analysis software including SAS, SPSS or STATA

     

    U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.

    Valid Driver’s License in good standing, issued by resident state required.

    May be required to pass security clearance investigation.

    Some travel required.
