Ameresco currently has a new opportunity based in the greater Oahu, Hawaii area for a Quality Control Construction Project Manager to join our Federal Construction Team in support of the final design, construction, and successful implementation of multimillion-dollar energy efficiency projects.
Manage the Quality Control (QC) process including scheduling, daily inspections and results reporting.
Operate project management software to interface with submittal of daily QC reports, weekly CPR’s and other documentation required for Ameresco's monthly progress payment applications.
Ensure Ameresco mandated documentation is properly completed and, submitted to appropriate reporting authority.
Coordinate with Government project management personnel and subcontractors to ensure proper QC procedures and documentation are performed and maintained.
Assist Engineering and Construction Teams in project design and development including scope, subcontractor selection, cost estimation, installation, and project scheduling.
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to assure competitive cost, best schedule and delivery for all project-related equipment, supply installations, and construction services.
Manage vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality control and project delivery on time and within budget, while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
Provide ongoing project status updates with all parties throughout design and construction.
Evaluate technologies and equipment; recommend most suitable for each application.
Provide project reports, documentation, technical assistance, support, and collaboration, using Project Management software
Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, federal, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codes.
Foster positive and effective business relationships at all levels and project phases.
Perform other duties as required.
High School, GED, technical training school, Associates Degree level graduate.
Minimum 7 years quality control and construction project management experience.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Completion or progress toward engineering, technical, or industry-related education preferred.
Demonstrated work experience with several of the following energy efficiency disciplines – water conservation measures, direct digital energy controls systems, variable frequency drives, high efficiency motors, central plant chiller and boiler installations, LED lighting retrofits, renewable energy technology, warranty and service requirements preferred.
Experience working in a government quality control program
Proven experience with OSHA safety standards, mechanical and electrical systems development, engineering, and project management regulations, practices, and codes.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and foster positive business relationships.
Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication, and presentation skills.
Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Project, AutoCAD.
U.S. Citizenship status required.
Will be required to pass security clearance investigation.
Valid Drivers’ License in good standing, issued by resident state.
