    Ameresco has a new opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our Federal Maintenance Team based in Aiken, South Carolina.  Ameresco is looking for a highly motivated individual to perform multiple administrative task. 

    Responsibilities

    Organizational skills and the ability to maintain filing systems and maintain inventory records;

    Provide Quality Assurance of payroll records to Corporate;

    Maintain accounts receivable for Corporate billing;

    Assist the Manger on Department of Energy (DOE) and South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) on inspections and record requirements;

    Ability to quickly learn new computer programs when provided proper training;

    Learn DOE protocols and follow these protocols as required;

    Maintain customer satisfaction and exceed customers’ expectations; and

    Performs related duties as required;

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent plus minimum 3 years’ experience providing professional administrative support within accounting, engineering, or construction work setting

     

    Additional Preferred Qualifications:

    Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint.

    Excellent verbal, written, computer, telephone, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills

    Demonstrated knowledge of engineering and commercial construction project design, procurement, contractual, and accounting terms, concepts, and practices

    Strong organizational skills with proven ability to multi-task, follow through, and meet deadlines within an entrepreneurial, customer-focused environment.

    U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.

    Valid Drivers’ License issued by state of residence and in good standing.

    May be required to pass security clearance investigation.

    Ability to work flexible hours as required.
