    Ameresco Inc. is seeking an exceptional innovative thinker and problem-solver to develop, manage, and execute the product development and delivery strategy for energy storage solutions. This strategic position will work across multiple business units to research the market, anticipate customer needs, propose strategic business structures & partnerships to enhance the company’s competitive advantages to develop energy storage products.

     

    The ideal candidate will bring tremendous technical expertise, possess strong commercial capabilities, and is passionate about taking initiative to solve complicated problems in a creative and diligent way.

    Responsibilities

    Research, track, and define market opportunities for the deployment of energy storage products in conjunction with the dynamic regulatory landscape.

    Attract and build a deep technical and business team.

    Work with the business units to develop a business plan for various storage-related products by region/ISO market that meet the needs of our clients.

    Develop customer-facing product documentation and presentations.

    Work with subject matter experts to evaluate and resolve storage-related technical feasibility, design optimization, and implementation issues.

    Work collaboratively with other members of the Ameresco team including, but not limited to, engineering, program management, construction, asset management, and legal departments in performing complete evaluations of energy storage technologies to continuously identify solutions that provide Ameresco with competitive advantages.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:
    BS in Electrical Engineering required, Masters Preferred

    MBA required

    Minimum 10 years management experience in Electrical, Energy Storage or related field.


    Additional Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience in working directly with end use customers.

    Experience with integration and deployment of energy storage projects.

    Experience with the ISO markets and optimizing BESS value stack considering the impact of the interaction of each.

    Experience interacting with storage-related suppliers and service providers.

    Strong writing skills preferred.

    Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel.

    Experience with more advance modeling tools encouraged but not required

    Should be able to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis in the context of business development and transactions and possess fluency with project proformas. Able to lead a cross functional team, comprised of technical and commercial team members.

    Excels in a fast-paced work environment and keen to work in a dynamic, evolving industry.

    Superior communication skills with supervisors, colleagues, and third parties; able to build bridges between diverse teams.

    Able to handle multiple concurrent projects and track progress and needs of each project and provide accurate and timely updates.
