    Ameresco is looking for a Business Financial Analyst Intern to gain hands-on experience creating financial reports, providing detailed analyses, and supporting all internal reporting requirements. We are looking for students who want to apply their skills in a dynamic, collaborative environment, where the work is often fast-paced and challenging. This position is located in Framingham, MA.

    Responsibilities

    Responsible for timely, accurate, and complete preparation and processing, invoices, forms, and periodic check runs, including handling transactions for multiple companies and subcontractors;

    Provide assistance with processing of expense reports for reimbursable cash expenditures and preparation of year-end information package for financial statement and corporate tax return;

    Reconcile vendor statements and Accounts Payable for annual year-end reports;

    Assist with month-end procedures including account as required;

    Collaborate with internal and external customers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve concerns;

    Foster a positive and effective customer and team-oriented work environment that facilitates collaborative relationships, efficiency, and continuous process improvement; and

    Perform other duties as required.

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

    Junior level college education focusing on Finance or Accounting

     

    ADDITIONAL PREFERRED:

    Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

    Working knowledge of Accounting and experience building financial models desirable

    MS Office proficiency with advanced Excel and Word experience preferred

    Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical data, spreadsheet, and presentation communication and organizational skills.

    Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables within fast paced, team project-oriented work environment.

    The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
