  • Responsibilities

    The Senior Project Manager will design, develop, and direct projects for a variety of clients, both public and private sector. Handle all aspects of the project from kick-off to completion, including client communication, managing internal and external resources, manage internal and external expectations regarding schedule and budget, producing all required deliverables and executive documents and presenting final results and reports. Provide consulting services to help clients establish capital planning processes, manage capital planning data, and quantify their capital renewal requirements. Provide consulting services to better understand their maintenance and energy opportunities. Perform analysis of data related to building structures and systems. Incorporate additional information related to utilization, energy use, maintenance practices, and redevelopment opportunities. Monitor energy related design issues, including energy engineering, energy management, and sustainable design. Conduct meetings with clients to gather information about their capital assets including buildings and sites and enter the data into Ameresco’s own software platform. Conduct quality assurance reviews of data from staff in the field to ensure the final product is in line with customer requirements. Support the business development process as needed. Assist with proposals, sales, strategy, and marketing collateral. Conduct online and in-person software training sessions with clients and test new functions and features before product software is released. As customary for the occupation, limited travel to client sites within the U.S. is required.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering or a closely related field and 4 years of experience in project management, working with complex data sets and establishing business processes. Or in the alternative, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering or a closely related field and 2 years of experience in project management, working with complex data sets and establishing business processes. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.

     

    Special Requirements: Must have any level of demonstrated knowledge of 1) buildings and infrastructure; 2) facilities capital planning; 3) asset and/or facility life cycle modeling; and 4) financing concepts.
