    We are seeking a talented Senior Project Development Engineer for our Solar PV team based in Framingham, MA.

    Responsibilities

    Collaborate with Project Engineers and Development Managers to provide project support for development, design and cost estimation activities.

    Visit project sites to assess and document site dimensions, electrical systems, PV array location and utility interconnection options.

    Gather key project technical data such as site structural and electrical drawings and site electricity load data and costs.

    Prepare Solar PV layouts and Electrical one-line diagrams in Auto CAD

    Perform system energy modeling and energy estimates using software estimating tools

    Prepare and submit utility interconnection applications and permits, as required

    Prepare project cost estimating sheets

    Assist Project Development Managers in writing and preparing exhibits for proposals and contracts

    Assist Project Development Managers with technical aspects of customer presentations

    Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codes.

    Foster effective and positive business relationships with all parties throughout project phases

    Perform other duties as required

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

     

    Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Science discipline, with a focus on Energy Efficiency and/or Renewable Technology preferred and proven academic accomplishment

    Minimum five (5) years of experience performing engineering related activities

    Minimum two (2) years of experience performing solar PV design

     

    Additional Preferred Qualifications:

     

    Proficiency with Auto CAD Civil and Helios 3D.

    Proficiency with PV SYST

    Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel.

    Excellent verbal, written, computer communication and presentation skills required. 

    Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships.

    Valid Drivers’ License issued by state of residence and in good standing.

    Ability to pass security clearance investigation.
