    Ameresco has a new opportunity for a Lighting Project Developer to assist Engineering and Construction Teams in developing lighting projects for industrial, commercial, and institutional customers.



    Schedule and conduct comprehensive lighting audits at a wide variety of regional sites.

    Perform highly detailed lighting audits for both interior and exteriors in a variety of building types, calculate savings, prepare reports, and design new lighting systems using appropriate technology.

    Prepare technical documents, construction budgets, rebate applications, product specifications, bid packages, and related materials.

    Collaborate with team members to review and improve lighting system designs.

    Foster effective and positive business relationships with all parties throughout project phases.

    Manage multiple projects simultaneously, often under aggressive deadlines.

    Prepare and maintain all forms of project presentations, documentation, and related material.

    Pursue continuing education courses and maintain any relevant certification credits such as LC.

    Perform other duties as required.


    Minimum Qualifications

    Minimum 4 years experience in engineering, technical or energy related work environment with a strong working knowledge of commercial lighting and controls systems.

    Proficiency in lighting design software (AG132 or Visual 3D).


    Additional Preferred Qualifications

    Technical degree in electrical systems preferred.

    Very strong MS Office proficiency, including advanced Excel spreadsheet skills.

    Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

    Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships.

    Valid Drivers’ License issued by state of residence and in good standing.

    U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.

    May be required to pass security clearance investigation.

    Overnight travel required.
