New full-time opportunity for a self-motivated Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our fast-paced Accounting and Finance Team based in Framingham, MA.

Responsibilities

Post / apply daily deposits for several accounts;

Create and issues invoices for multiple business units;

Process incoming mail/checks concerning billing and invoicing;

Communicate with customers about billing discrepancies and questions;

Engage management over any AR problems or concerns;

Initiate collections on past due accounts;

Handle all special billing situations;

Audit ledgers and system information to ensure accuracy, such as billing addresses and invoice numbers;

Work closely with other teams (GL/AR/AP) to resolve any research items as necessary and to communicate any learned/potential efficiencies;

Process all month end closing items related to Accounts Receivable in an efficient, accurate and timely manner;

Reconcile any/all AR Accounts. This includes any suspense account where research is necessary.

Adhere to SOX requirements where applicable;

Take on project work when necessary to create efficiencies and to collaborate with other teams.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting or Business

2 years’ experience working in cash apps or accounts receivable

 

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

MS Dynamics or similar ERP accounting application experience preferred

Proficiency with Excel (Vlookups and pivot tables a plus)

Understanding of SOX compliance (internal control standards)

Must have good interpersonal skills - able to work well on a team and have a collaborative attitude

Detailed focused and oriented

Ability to multitask and self-motivate, handling a high volume of work in an efficient, accurate and timely manner

Possess excellent organizational skills

Ability to develop and document new and existing processes as it relates to Cash Applications

Possess a positive “can do” attitude, able to adapt to change
