New opportunity for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our Federal Operations and Maintenance Team based in Washington, DC.
Install, maintain, test and repairs HVAC systems, fan coil units, Air Handling units, related piping systems, control valves and controls and all other related equipment.
Troubleshoots clean, repair, check AHU’s and FCU’s.
Make necessary adjustments and calibration of related control devices.
Estimate time and materials needed on particular jobs, as required.
Prepare and update prints as necessary.
Frequently work from ladders, platforms, high places, and cramped spaces.
Maintain customer satisfaction and exceed customers’ expectations; and
Performs related duties as required.
GED or High School Diploma
Five years’ experience in the custodial field and supervision
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Types II and III CFC Certification required; Universal certification desired.
Must have knowledge of operating and servicing entire building and support systems including HVAC, Steam, HHW, refrigeration, pneumatic, DDC and building safety equipment.
Physical ability to bend, reach, climb, and lift 75+ lbs. without assistance.
Strong verbal, written, computer communication (MS Office) and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task, follow through, and meet deadlines.
Valid Drivers License issued by state of residence and in good standing.
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required.
