Responsibilities

Perform assigned duties as an individual or team member during all phases of assembly, integration and testing;

Make basic layouts on parts or assemblies in order to establish reference points and check dimensions;

Operate computing equipment to access job information such as drawings, specifications and other online information systems;

Must be capable of visualizing CAD drawings and understanding symbols, flag notes, and general notes;

Experience reading and interpreting assembly instructions from BOM’s and drawings;

Use various types of power tools such as chop saw, grinder, drill press, disk sander, etc.;

Use various types of hand tools, hand help power tools, and/or precision measuring tools;

Meet customer satisfaction requirements for quality, performance, and reliability;

Process technical skills necessary to perform work using detail work instruction and other release planning documentation and a variety of other support technical documentation as required including but not limited to technical drawings, 2D and 3D models, schematics, circuit/wiring diagrams, process and equipment specifications, photographs, illustrations, and sketches;

Perform all elements of mechanical assembly, integration and test from detail fabrication, buildup of assemblies and subassemblies through final integration;

Perform as required approved rework, modifications, repairs and incorporation of changes per technical documentation and formal direction electrical, electronic and mechanical systems;

Assist in defining, implementing, completing and monitoring the execution of the work scope;

Make recommendations for refinement to equipment and evaluations that result in product and process improvements; and

Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma

 

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Technical knowledge and asbility to read blueprints, drawings, etc.

Ability in using tools (e.g. clamps) and machines (e.g presses)

Good understanding of quality cnotrol principles

Good communication skills (verbal and written)

Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
