Ameresco Inc (NYSE:AMRC) is seeking a hands-on Customer Success Manager to lead the market expansion of its cloud hosted energy sensing and analytics product, Building Dynamics. Building Dynamics is an IoT solution for energy monitoring and management in large commercial and industrial buildings. This individual will lead the support of Ameresco regional groups and outside customers in applying Building Dynamics to their business. The customer success manager will report to the VP of Technology and Software and will interact directly with the Building Dynamics software development and support teams and will lead the development of collateral materials, presentations and customer interactions. The primary goal of this position is to increase sales through Ameresco regions and direct sales to customers.

Responsibilities

Assist Ameresco Regional groups to the sales of Building Dynamics to their customers;

Initiate direct SaaS sales to customers in market sectors provided by management;

Help develop and implement a channel partner strategy for Building Dynamics;

Develop collateral materials and documentation for use in proposals and customer interactions;

Actively participate in the development of RFP responses;

Build case studies and reference materials;

Organize webinars and demonstrations for internal groups, new customers and existing customers and prepare quotes;

Manage the Building Dynamics sales pipeline;

Actively collect feedback on customer requirements and experiences and communicate them to the development team;

Support company-wide campaigns in new markets (Higher Ed, Healthcare, C&I);

Act as the liaison between regional groups and the Building Dynamics team to help improve support processes; and

Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree.

Minimum three years prior experience with low-touch software sales.

 

Additional Preferred Qualifications: 

Excellent verbal, written, technical and computer communication and presentation skills required.

Ability to develop presentations and collateral materials independently

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships.

Comfort with using software and giving customer demonstrations independently

Prior experience with the building energy sector will be considered a plus

Experience with digital marketing and demand generation.

Valid Drivers’ License in good standing, issued by resident state required.

Travel required.
