Responsibilities

Perform quantitative research on the Department of Enrrgy's Annual Energy Outlook to update internal AEG data models.

Perform policy research on energy efficiency codes and standards at the state and federal levels for both current and future codes.

Perform wide range of analysis, including energy analysis, analysis of fuel and utility bills, estimate energy efficiency savings and costs, provide financial analysis, and measure engineering analysis.

Perform benefit-cost analysis on prospective energy efficiency measures and programs.

Justify and document technical decisions related to research planning and data analysis.

Report and present results and findings, as well as actionable recommendations to internal AEG team and potentially utility clients and regulators.

Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Public Policy, Mathematics, or quantitative related discipline.

 

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel

Knowledge of Visual Basic (VBA) or a similar programming language.

Ability to manager multiple taks or projects and work closely with other project team members.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to explain technical information to a lay audience.

Desire to develop existing and new skill sets in collaborative, fast-paced environment with colleagues who take pride in their company and enjoy their work.

Familiarity with program planning and design or program implementation in energy or related environmental field.
