Responsibilities

Responsible for the preparation of monthly reconciliations within the multinational financial close process as well as support the compliance, reporting and treasury management for the Company’s structured finance arrangements.

Ensuring consolidated monthly financial closes are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsible for the general accounting relating to multiple sites (national and international).

Support the month-end close process by analyzing Balance Sheet accounts, investigating variances, recording the necessary journal entries and preparing account reconciliations, including preparing accompanying supporting schedules.

Responsible for the monthly and quarterly compliance requirements of the Company’s various structured finance arrangements (operating reports, draw request letters & cash management, interest rate swap settlements, etc.), as required.

Take an active role in the preparation and the annual audit of the Company’s stand-alone financials, including significant interaction and working directly with the auditors and responding to audit comments and inquiries.

Participate in cross-functional project teams to support system implementations, upgrades, process improvement initiatives or acquisitions, as required.

Support management in completing special projects, ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests.

Perform to meet SOX compliance and initiatives.

Identify opportunities for efficiency, training, guidelines, documentation, and collaborate internally to implement and monitor progress toward continuous process improvement.  

Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

BS/BA in Accounting or Finance.

4 years of progressive business experience required with a solid mix of public accounting and public company experience.

 

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Experience reading and reconciling financial agreements and statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow statement, form 10Q/10K etc)

Experience with renewable energy structured finance transactions (sale lease-back, partnership flip or project level debt arrangements) a plus but not required.

Experience with MS Dynamics or similar project accounting software system a plus.

Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.

This position requires strong organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills. Accuracy and attention to details are critical.
