Ameresco Asset Sustainability Group (ASG) provides business planning, capital/strategic planning and asset management software solutions/services to our customers throughout North America. ASG provides advisory/consulting services and a suite of innovative software tools that help our clients fund and improve schools, public housing, municipal buildings, hospitals, campuses, and commercial properties. The Project Manager will work directly with clients to help them establish capital planning processes for their facilities and capital assets, establish life cycle and operational maintenance & energy data, and implement Ameresco’s AssetPlannerTM software applications (Capital Planning, Maintenance Management, Energy Management).
Manage projects for a variety of clients, both public and private sector. Handle all aspects of the project from kick-off to completion, including client communication, managing internal and external resources, manage internal and external expectations regarding schedule and budget, producing all required deliverables and executive documents and presenting final results and reports;
Provide consulting services to help clients establish capital planning processes, manage capital planning data, and quantify their capital renewal requirements;
Provide consulting services to better understand their maintenance and energy opportunities;
Perform analysis of data related to building structures and systems. Incorporate additional information related to utilization, energy use, maintenance practices, and redevelopment opportunities;
Conduct phone interviews with clients to gather information about their capital assets including buildings and sites and enter the data into Ameresco’s own software platform
Conduct quality assurance reviews of data from staff in the field to ensure the final product is in line with customer requirements;
Support the business development process as needed. Assist with proposals, sales strategy, and marketing collateral;
Conduct on-line and in-person software training sessions with clients
Test new functions and features before software is released
Perform other duties as required.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Technical understanding of buildings and infrastructure, such as facilities management, condition assessments, engineering, building science, maintenance management, and energy management;
Facilities capital planning; understanding of facility life cycle modeling; proficiency with financing concepts;
Technical Requirements: Advanced proficiency with MS Office products (especially Excel and Project), AutoCAD. Windows PC; tablet technology (iPad, Surface a plus); experience with facilities planning software such as AssetPlanner™, VFA a plus.
Demonstrated technical ability combined with the ability to work in a collaborative environment with end-users, clients and other members of the software development and implementation teams;
Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills;
Ability to effectively manage and negotiate multiple priorities and priorities within an entrepreneurial setting, while fostering positive business relationships;
Professional and courteous demeanor, team-player, interest in both technology and building systems, attentive to detail;
Valid Drivers' License in good standing
