This position is available for an experienced professional in the lighting and/or energy efficiency industry to assist with the development and implementation of energy savings projects.
Schedule and conduct comprehensive lighting audits at customer project site facilities nationwide;
Organize and maintain auditing and savings calculation tools for productive audit execution and post-audit analysis;
Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in energy efficient lighting and lighting controls for Federal projects and periodically update peers and team members on new products, trends, and suppliers;
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, distributors, and peer lighting retrofit contractors;
Collect and input data involving project site lighting, calculate savings, prepare reports, and design new lighting systems using appropriate technology;
Identify efficient new and retrofit lighting solutions complying with customer requirements and within project cost and performance limits.
Prepare technical documents, construction budgets, rebate applications, product specifications, bid packages, and related material;
Foster effective and positive business relationships with all parties throughout project phases;
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, often under aggressive deadlines;
Prepare and maintain all forms of project presentations, documentation, and related material; and Perform other duties as required.

Graduate from an engineering or technology program focusing on Engineering, Construction, or related field. BSEE degree preferred.
Credentialed as a Certified Lighting Efficiency Professional (CLEP) and/or National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions (NCQLP) Lighting Certified Professional (LP) preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge and work experience with a broad spectrum of lighting and lighting control technologies, and industry standards.
Experience & proficiency with common indoor, outdoor, area & roadway, and security lighting applications.
Experience in auditing facilities from 10 to 1,000 kSF.
5-8 years’ employment work experience.
Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical data, spreadsheet, and presentation communication and organizational skills.
MS Office proficiency with advanced Excel and Word experience preferred.
Knowledge of financial planning and analysis, with emphasis on how to develop a business case
Prior experience within energy efficiency highly desirable
Valid Drivers’ License issued by state of residence and in good standing
U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required
May be required to pass security clearance investigation.
